Back pain can come from a lot of different things. Sometimes it's a pulled muscle from lifting something the wrong way. Other times it's from sitting too long, bad posture, or a worn-out disc in your spine. Stress can even play a role — your muscles tense up when you're anxious, and that can make your back ache. In some cases, things like arthritis or a pinched nerve are behind it. The tricky part is that the same kind of pain can have different causes in different people.
